Stakes are always high and it is always up to us to exceed the already placed boundaries.....by society. Times are hard and the way we look at life should be from a different view every season. It is amazing how many of us wish,dream and fantasize but find it difficult to live that dream. The power to any accomplishment and failure lies in you, you are a powerful source that can make any celebrity, mogul,guru,king/queen, ancestor,dlozi or what ever to stop and look at you flourish into a powerful entity that was a seed not long ago
Apartheid did play a role and the excuses our parents make are accepted but it is quite dubious for a young adult to go on and on about apartheid demoralizing the black nation. Black is beautiful and has so many functions that it can do single handedly...look at Blackberry, taking the world by storm. It aint easy to strike it rich in a matter of days or months hence I am urging everyone to atleast start pursuing their dreams. Lets look at what the word start means..."the beginning of an activity, journey, race e.t.c/n". Now lets put the word into action and understand fully what it expects from us. Starting does not mean running to ABSA and pursue a loan for your business or anything you want to do. Starting means take time out and think about what you want to do and believe in it for it to have an impact. Draft a rough plan and see how you will use it to take you where you want to go, think very hard and do neccessary research by visiting the net, asking a neighbour who might know a little more that you do and ask your girl next door/random people in your social circles about their views on e.g sports bars, what they like, what they don't like and what they would like to see. The rest should be easier because now you have atleast an idea of what you are doing and how you will do it.
The bottom line here is that time is in our hands and excuses are worse that the crisis in Somalia and Mugabe's antics in Zimbabwe. At a close second we have procrastination, leader of any shocking stories we have heard on TV, Tiger Woods' sex addiction has nothing on this word. I am also a victim of this word, which was created by man and it is a winner in more than 85% of the human races hinderance to start pursuing. I can't help but laugh at the fact that women think run this world when the big guns are silent and watching from a distance with their chins up...I am talking about STARTING and PROCRASTINATION, they run this world, go tell Beyonce' she is lying!
