The last breath of Honesty

We often feel that we owe people a false representation of who we are just so that we are accepted in society. This idea of society and it's values is actually created by us, we are the society and whatever we do, it should not be cast out...especially if it is through honesty.

It is always said that the truth sets us free but in the world that we live in, it is compromised and the one who is the bearer of 'truth' is ussually verbally stoned and to save your life, you are forced to raise a white flag that does not really represent purity but an endangered value that is not stipulated but known from one community to another. What is deemed to be wrong is correct and what is correct is shuned to the edge of the cliff and the wrong makes its way to the thrown of civilisation.

Love, Caring, Support, Giving, Respect, Tolerance and our very own Ubuntu are trending as International values bit the base of all these values are found in Honesty. I'm not innocent nor always honest but I strive to treat others as well as I would urge them to treat me.

With this little speech, let's take responsibility and not watch as our youth die out without understanding that defiance to honesty means the death of UBUNTU.
